We are a Zimbabwean company working to sustainably commercialise indigenous natural resources.  The sustainable commercialisation of indigenous natural resources provides alternative income generating opportunities for rural producers and encourages them to protect their natural resources because they are able to make money from them.

We work in partnership with a Zimbabwean non-governmental organisation, the Southern Alliance for Indigenous Resources (SAFIRE)SAFIRE's main focus is on improving rural livelihoods through improved management and utilisation of the natural resource base.

We are a member of PhytoTrade Africa (PhytoTrade Africa) - the Southern African Natural Products Trade Association.  PhytoTrade Africa helps African rural producers develop and market their natural products for export.

In January 2005 we became a member of WFTO - the World Fair Trade Organization.

Natural products are products derived from naturally occurring resources, harvested from the wild by rural producers.

The harvesting of natural products adds diversity to the income of rural people, decreasing their reliance on the success and value of a single crop. It also provides work for those not engaged in farming, making use of their existing knowledge and skills, and harnessing their productive potential for the benefit of themselves and the environment. Fair trade practices ensure that they receive the full value of their labour, and command fair prices for their produce.
